Description (Service) Service club with limited amounts of discretionary funding but assists with a variety of community and social needs including:  
* makes donations to many local causes, such as the Huntsville Public Library, and the Hospital Foundation  
* has a special mandate to provide financial assistance to people in need who have sight problems - provide funding directly to optometrist or other professional for services provided, based on prior approval by the Club  
* supports various activities such as the Canada public speaking contest for students, the Bob Rumball Camp for Deaf, CNIB Lake Joseph Camp and the Diabetes Society, including Camp Huronda and the Lion's Dialysis Camp Dorset  
* new members always welcome
Service Details
Public Comments The Huntsville Lions Club is accepting donations of refundable, empty wine, beer, liquor, pop bottles and aluminum cans. The money raised support the many community projects the Club assists. The drop-off depot is located outside the Chaffey Hall Community Centre, located at 24 Chaffey Township Road
Hours Meetings: first and third Wed 6:30 pm-8 pm
