Description
Description (Service) The La Leche League encourages, promotes and provides mother-to-mother breastfeeding support and educational opportunities. Local leaders provide one-on-one telephone support and facilitate series meetings.  
 
Four meetings are held in Huntsville for pregnant and new mothers to promote and assist with breastfeeding. Topics include: advantages of breastfeeding * the family and the breastfed baby * art of breastfeeding and avoiding difficulties * nutrition and weaning.  
 
Meetings are held 2nd Mon of each month at 10:00am at the Huntsville Public Library

Eligibility New mothers who are interested in/or are breastfeeding; occasionally fathers attend

Fees None - Support group ; You do not have to be a member of the League to attend local meetings.
