Registers, stores and preserves documents, deeds, mortgages and plans of survey registration relating to the ownership and encumbrance of real property under both the Land Titles System and Registry System. All registered and deposited records are available to the public to search title or obtain information relating to the ownership of real property in the District of Muskoka. Access to records is by brief legal description (ie lot number, plan, concession), municipal address or name of registered owners. The land records are in paper and automated format. A fee is charged for this service. Notices of construction liens may be filed.
