Description (Service) Provides gathering hubs across Muskoka for Indigenous and Non-Indigenous people. Places where Indigenous culture is celebrated, friendships made, knowledge and skills are shared. For the Indigenous, led by the Indigenous, and where allies are invited to watch, listen, and learn alongside.

Currently there are three hub locations:
  • Gravenhurst - St James Anglican Church, 191 Hotchkiss Street
  • Ryde - Ryde Co-op Community Centre, 1624 Barkway Rd, Gravenhurst
  • Huntsville - Huntsville Public Library, 7 Minerva Street East

Service Details

Heures Gravenhurst Gatherings: Tue 1 pm-3 pm

Ryde, Huntsville, Sundridge, Bracebridge monthly gatherings as posted on website. Other contact is available Mon-Fri 9-4 by email or phone. Huntsville Hub gatherings will be announced. Contact Huntsville Hub at: huntsvillehubmifc@gmail.com

Ryde location is beginning monthly (June 2022)
Régions desservies Muskoka (District)
Admissibilité No restrictions, but due to funding constraints, Indigenous clients will be given priority when necessary.
