| Description (Service) | COVID-19 Response Most in-person Service Canada Centres are open, please visit our website at www.canada.ca to see if your local Service Canada office is open. Clients can apply for critical services online. Personal service support for EI and pension applications are available through e-service online and on mobile phones. Many online services available at Canada.ca/service-canada-home. For assistance accessing services, complete online request at Canada.ca/service-canada-e-service. Regular Service Temporary financial assistance and support in finding new employment. Able-bodied claimants must be seeking employment to remain eligible. Due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak, there are changes to this program. Please click on the link to access the changes: https://www.canada.ca/en/services/benefits/ei/notice-covid-19.html Family Supplement -- for low income families who receive the Canada Child Benefit (see separate entry). Entitlement will be added to EI payment. Special benefits:
