| Description (Service) | COVID19 Response Program not running at this time due to COVID19 * Visit website for information. Regular Service The Mothers of Newborns Program at the YMCA is designed to provide new mothers who have had a child in 2021 with an easy and safe path towards health and wellness while creating a network of support and belonging. Program participants will have access, at no cost, to: • Facilities in both the Cobourg and Brighton Y sites to participate in group fitness, including training equipment and the pool at the Cobourg Y. • Ten hours of Playcentre child care free to the mother to use the Cobourg facility or participate in programming. • Specialty classes designed for mothers and newborns, including Mom and Baby Yoga, Water Baby Bootcamp, Pilates and Strong Bodies for Mom • Additional programs developed through partnerships with Northumberland EarlyON, Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit, La Leche League Northumberland, and Northumberland Hills Hospital, to provide social networking opportunities, resources and support. |
