Northumberland Eats

Description (Service) The Northumberland Eats Voucher Pilot Program is a collaboration between Northumberland County and the United Way. Northumberland Eats is designed to provide food support to vulnerable individuals or families through this COVID pandemic while focusing on Northumberland County's mandate to invest in local businesses.
  • When a participating social service organization recognizes a need for an individual or family to obtain a meal, that organization may issue vouchers to the individual or family.
  • Vouchers are available in $5 and $10 denominations.
  • The individual or family may use the vouchers at participating local businesses for food and/or beverages.
  • The vouchers have no cash value and may not be used to obtain alcohol or lotto.
As of April 1, Northumberland Eats has moved into phase 2 of the program led by the Northumberland United Way. At this time, red United Way vouchers will replace the black Northumberland Eats vouchers.
