The Couchiching Family Health Team offers an educational, supportive and social group helping those later in life adjust to various issues surrounding aging.
Some topics covered in the group include:

  • Feeling sad or anxious
  • Memory problems
  • Falls or risk of falling
  • Adjusting to a new diagnosis
  • Managing stress
  • Bereavement or loss
  • Social isolation
  • Caregiving
  • Major life changes
  • Financial issues
  • Making end-of-life decisions
  • Managing chronic conditions
  • Power of attorney and wills
  • Maintaining independence at home safely

Eligibility 60 years and older


Must be a patient of the Couching Family Health Team or the Orillia Family Health Organization Physicians
