|Description (Service)||This educational group is for people who are, or think they may be, experiencing depression. The goals of this group is to help people understand depression and learn Cognitive Behavioural Strategies to overcome depression.
Topics covered in the group include:
* What is depression?
* The role of medication in treating depression
* Behaviour associated with depression and strategies to change behaviour
* Thoughts associated with depression and how to change your thinking
* How to prevent relapse
|Hours||Office: Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm
The group runs for 4 consecutive weeks, each meeting is 2 hours long and are run by a Registered Social Worker.

|Eligibility||Must be a patient of the Couching Family Health Team or the Orillia Family Health Organization Physicians who has or thinks they may have depression.|
