Description
Description (Service) | Provides a multiplicity of services beyond fire suppression ranging from plan review, fire awareness through fire prevention and school education programs, rescue auto extrication, spills and hazardous material containment. Volunteers travel to schools, seniors complexes and retirement homes with the Smoke House for fire and safety lectures. The Fire Department in conjunction with the Ontario Fire Marshall's office performs arson investigations, specialized inspections, on site training and advice on the enforcement of the Ontario fire code.
