Description
Description (Service) | Raises funds for local charities, individuals and service organizations. They are involved in the Adopt-a-Highway * support the CNIB Leader Dog Program, Handicapped Association ,Fire/Rescue for Severn Township * sponsor the Lions Drug Awareness Program called Lions Quest * Lions Camp Dorset for children * Children Diabetes * St Joesph Camp for the Blind * and other childrens' projects including a speech contest for ages 11-13. They also sponsor an International Peace Poster Contest and Canada Day Celebration, Public speaking contests, and help in dialysis needs. Support Soldier Memorial Hospital 2nd Mon dinner meeting and 4th Mon a Directors and business meeting. Meetings held at the Washago Lions Hall. Call for further details. |
