Description (Service) The Library provides resource materials and information services that support projects, programs and organizational goals of the OPP and the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.  
 
Police officers commonly use the library to research various topics. These include community policing * new police technology * victim issues * accident investigation * ballistics * drugs * forensics * behavioural sciences * psychology * security * underwater investigation * canine training * tactical planning 
 
The Library subscribes to a number of professional periodicals and provides access to electronic information sources through on-line search services and the Internet. The library is also accessible to the general public although the public may not borrow materials. 
 
The Library does not lend directly to the public.
