| Description (Service) | Provides confidential care and treatment by specialized nurses sensitive to the need of domestic assault victims who have recently experienced a domestic assault. Care and treatment options are offered for each victim including: medical care and treatment of injuries * photographs and documentation of injuries for use as court evidence * safety planning * risk assessment * referral to community services and resources for domestic violence * followup telephone calls and visits are also offered |
