Description (Service) | Municipal and community archives for County of Perth (including lower tier municipalities) and City of Stratford. Collects, preserves, and makes available the documentary heritage of local governments, community organizations, businesses, schools, churches and families. |
Service Details
Hours | Appointments needed for researchers using original archival material like photographs and Council minutes. Drop-in visitors welcome to use microfilm and reference books during open hours. Reading Room and Exhibit Gallery open 10 am-3 pm Tue-Fri plus Sat from 10 am-3 pm over the summer. Open Saturdays by appointment only the rest of the year. Donations to collections welcome. Please call or email to set up a time to come in. |

Fees | Service ; Exhibit Gallery is always free. Reading Room with staff to assist free for all who live in Perth County or Stratford. $5 daily admission fee for Reading Room for researchers who live outside of Perth County. Will provide an hour of free research by staff each year for those who are unable to visit in-person. Fees for photocopying and scans. See website for details. |
