Description (Service)
If you have received a Provincial Offence Notice (traffic ticket), you have three options:

Option 1: Plea of Guilty - Voluntary Payment of Total Payable - on-line by Visa or MasterCard HERE, by phone during office hours (Visa, MasterCard or Visa Debit), in person at any Provincial Offences office (Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard or Bank Draft) or by mail payable to "County of Perth" (cheque or money order)

Option 2: Early Resolution - Meet with the Prosecutor (By choosing this option, you do not forego the right to a trial. Our office must receive your request for a meeting, by checking your option. If you live more than 75 km from the courthouse, you can request a meeting with the prosecutor by telephone. You can deliver your request for a meeting with the prosecutor to our office:
  • In person or by mail at the Provincial Offences Office: 1 Huron Street Stratford, ON N5A 5S4
  • By faxing both front and back of the ticket: 519-271-7993
  • By scanning and e-mailing the front back of the ticket to Provincial Offences Administration
  • By making your request through WEBSITE HERE. Your will require the four digit ICON location code and the eight digit offence number from your ticket.
If you have moved, please notify our office to ensure that you receive your notices.

Option 3: Trial

Visit HERE to get information about tickets or fines for how is owed, where to pay and how to request a meeting with a prosecutor before your trial.

PLEASE NOTE: There is going to be some renovations happening at the courthouse so the main entrance will temporarily change from the lower level to another entrance. Call the courthouse for details before visiting.

Application Provincial Offences Act (POA) violations can be paid online using paytickets.ca. Offers a secure and convenient payment of Provincial Offences Act (POA) violations. This service can be used to pay Traffic Violations and other POA Part 1 fines issued under the: Highway Traffic Act, Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act, Liquor Licence Act, Trespass to Property Act and other Provincial Acts

Payments can be made by mail (do not mail cash) or in person by: Cash, Debit, VISA, MasterCard, Money Order or personal cheque. Make payable to: County of Perth. Can also make payments over the phone.

Fees Payments take three business days to process and can be paid with Visa or MasterCard. Have your Provincial Offences ticket ready. A non-refundable convenience fee of $3 applies.

Fines are not marked as paid until payment has been received by the Provincial Offences Office.

Physical Access Partially Accessible - Entrance to the building through the lover level 1 entrance at the back of the building facing Service Ontario. Facility is Partially Accessible - Lift to courtrooms available upon request, accessible doors and washrooms on parking lot side. PLEASE NOTE: Due to construction, the main entrance has been temporarily changed to the Entrance on the St. Andrew Street Side of the building.
