Description (Service) Rehabilitation centre for children and youth with physical, communication or developmental needs. Assists to help reach their potential for independence, self-esteem, and participation in society:
  • assessment
  • individual and group therapy
  • consultation and counselling
  • parent education and support groups
  • community education
Also provides:
  • Autism Services - Services and supports for children and youth with ASD, and their families
  • Clinical and Technical Specialty Services - Specialized rehabilitation services for children and youth, available on an as-needed assessment and consultative basis
  • Early Childhood and School Age / Adolescent Program - Services to children and youth with physical, communication or developmental needs
  • Paediatric Acquired Brain Injury Community Outreach Program (PABICOP) - an outreach program for children and adolescents with acquired brain injuries (ABI) and their families.
Services are provided in a variety of settings depending on the need.

Eligibility Ages: 19 year(s) and under with physical, developmental or communication needs. Some programs have government-mandated criteria.
Application Referrals can be made by families, doctors and other service providers. School Therapy Services must be initiated by the principal at the student's school. Most medical and dental specialty clinics require referral by doctor or dentist.
