| Description (Service) | COVID19 - continuing to support the most vulnerable community members impacted by dementia through regular support telephone calls and email for those who have email * suspended face-to-face meetings including home and office visits * reaching out to the community by initiating support calls and monitoring office telephones daily * if emotional support is required as a result of living with or caring for someone with dementia to contact the Alzheimer Society of Perth County at 519-271-1910 or email at info@alzheimerperthcounty.com. Support groups are offered throughout Perth County at a variety of locations and times for people in the early stage of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, as well as for family members providing care * support groups help participants connect with others experiencing the effects of dementia and to receive information on how to cope |
