Description (Service) COVID-19 on hold

Offers an opportunity for the volunteer to learn more about public health and to share skills, interests and time, enhancing the programs and services offered by the Huron Perth Public Health

Volunteer tasks include:
  • assist at community events, health fairs, flu clinics
  • emergency response volunteers
  • prepare and distribute information packages
  • participate in school support groups and workshops with teens
  • assist with office tasks and distribute information throughout the community.
Volunteers make an important contribution to the delivery of programs: clerical, clinic support, information distribution, school based volunteers facilitate small group programs
