Description (Service) Red Cross Personal Disaster Responders provide basic needs after a disaster * food, clothing, shelter, personal services, emotional support and family reunification * for first 72 hours 
Red Cross offers * specific services based on community needs and the role of the Red Cross in the local disaster response plan * works with governments and other humanitarian organizations * Volunteers respond to disasters 24/7 
 
Canadian Red Cross also offers local safety training, violence and abuse prevention and education, and international disaster relief. Visit website for more information
