| Description (Service) | Provides utility assistance for: Low-income Energy Support Program (LEAP) - click here. Intakes done for electricity and natural gas suppliers where the household has an unpaid balance, client is behind on electricity or natural gas bill, or is facing having service disconnected. This done with the United Way Simcoe/Muskoka. Please note for Festival Hydro customers this does not cover water or sewage fees and support is available from the City of Stratford Social Services, 519-271-3773 Ext 200, or click here. Most common suppliers for LEAP include Enbridge and Hydro One. Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) - click here. Customers of an electricity utility and in a lower-income home, may qualify for a reduction on monthly electricity bill. For Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) - assistance with all electricity providers in the region, most common suppliers for OESP include ERTH Power Corporation (Previously Erie Thames Powerlines), Hydro One, Festival Hydro and KITCHENER-WILMOT HYDRO INC. |
