Lawyers provide immediate legal assistance to low-income individuals who appear in family or criminal court without a lawyer including:

  • information about legal rights, obligation and the court process
  • assistance in the courtroom for bail hearings and sentencing
  • assistance with diversions, guilty pleas and sentencing
  • helps determine if further duty counsel services are required or if the matter requires Legal Aid Ontario's assistance in retaining a lawyer

Family Law Information Centre (FLIC) is offered here 2 mornings each week for summary legal advice on family matters.

Masks and social distancing are required in office and for appearances.

Public Comments This office does not do Legal Aid applications, must apply by phone to the Client Service Centre.
Hours FLIC: Mon, Fri 9 am-12 noon
Client Service Centre: Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm

Eligibility Low income individuals who meet financial eligibility guidelines with a legal matter that is covered through Legal Aid Ontario
Application Walk in for assistance, on a first come, first serve basis. Call Client Service Centre to apply for Legal Aid.
