Rescues stray and abandoned cats and kittens

  • All cats and kittens are placed in volunteer foster homes until they are ready for adoption
  • All kittens and cats have been spayed/neutered prior to adoptions and are fully vaccinated
  • Adoption fee for cats and kittens is $250 and subject to increases.
  • Barn cats are available for a donation (tax receipt will be given), provided they have access to food and water and a warm place to sleep
  • ARK does not allow animals to be de-clawed, even after adoption
  • Cats can be viewed on ARK's facebook page. Please contact to view profile binder. Cats are available to view at PetValu in Peterborough (Brookdale Plaza), PetSmart in South Whitby, PetSmart in Markham, two PetValu stores in Oshawa, one PetValu in Brighton and one PetSmart store in Belleville.
  • ARK does not have a shelter and relies on foster homes. Volunteer foster homes are always needed
