Description (Service) | Provides assistance and leadership to unions and labour councils. * Coordinates activities of union locals in Peterborough District. * Assists with the organizing of unions. * May represent union locals or individuals in municipal, provincial and federal governments and agencies as appropriate such as Employment Insurance Commission, Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (Workers' Compensation). * Provides representation on civic boards and committees. * Offers education and liaison with other community groups. |
