Description
Description (Service) Provides assistance and leadership to unions and labour councils. 
* Coordinates activities of union locals in Peterborough District. 
* Assists with the organizing of unions. 
* May represent union locals or individuals in municipal, provincial and federal governments and agencies as appropriate such as Employment Insurance Commission, Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (Workers' Compensation). 
* Provides representation on civic boards and committees. 
* Offers education and liaison with other community groups.
Service Details
Hours Meetings: Fourth Tue of the month except Dec (third Tue) at 246 Romaine St at 5:30 pm. * Open to the public with voting limited to delegates from unions.
