Description (Service)

A community-based research and education program that connects community with Trent University to conduct community-based research.

In community-based research, the questions come from the community and, using credible research methods, community members, researchers, faculty and students work collaboratively to find the answers.
Research engages communities and their citizens in the creation, design, implementation and use of research to meet their needs.
Students gain academic credit and on-the-job experience through supervised research projects for local organizations.
