Description (Service)

Designed to be flexible and responsive to the needs of youth in moments of crisis

initial assessment appointment set up within 24-72 hours after referral is made
meetings conducted both with client and their family when appropriate
the needs of the young person is determine at the first meeting and a plan of action is developed to meet those needs

Community Response Team Counsellor can meet up with youth in the community, at a school when possible or at our agency.

The team works closely with the hospital, area schools and community organizations.

The Community Response Program provides 4 services:

Mobile Crisis Response Service
Parent/Caregiver Response Service
Case Management/Service Navigation Service
Adolescent Differential Response Service (KHCAS/DBCFS)
