Description (Service) Provides opportunities and outcomes for learning and skill development in the areas of employment, volunteerism, recreation
and community connections for people with developmental disabilities.

Provides support to people living with developmental disabilities to improves their quality of life through:

  • valuing personal and informed choices
  • honouring personal worth and citizenship
  • promoting life-long learning
  • respecting personal safety and security
  • enjoying healthy and active lifestyles

Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4 pm (flexible)
Areas Served Peterborough ; Peterborough (County of)
Eligibility Individuals 16 years and older living with a developmental disability
Application Call to arrange initial appointment for intake or complete the Alternatives Community Program Services Application Form and return it to the school attending or mail it as indicated on the form.
Languages American Sign Language (ASL) - Interpretation
Fees Service ; None ; Fee for Service Programs; Limited space for programs funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services
