Description (Service) | Service club raises money for various causes including Dog Guides for the Blind, autistic and other applications, a home in Belleville for the deaf, scholarships, minor sports in the community, local beautification commitee, camps for children, Peterborough Regional Health Centre (Hospital), Otonabee-South Monaghan Fire Department, and Otonabee-South Monaghan Public Library's three branches * Collects eyeglasses for re-cycling * Provides loans of medical equipment such as wheelchairs * Annual cordwood bonspiel for local children * Supports David N McIntyre Memorial Accessible Park in the Village of Lang Hosts Lions Club Bingo every Wed at 7 pm at the Otonabee South Monaghan Memorial Community Centre, 24 Fourth St, Keene |
