Description (Service) | Promotes connections in the community and the development of relationships for young people living with disabilities.
Amigos in the Community Program is a peer mentoring program for young adults. Matches volunteer connectors with leadership skills and people who have barriers to inclusion, with or without disabilities. Holds bi-monthly group events to provide opportunities for inclusive socializing Abiliities and Inclusion Network is an initiative that brings together local organizations and service providers, to build a more inclusive and collaborative community, that serves persons with barriers in a more meaningful way. |
