Description (Service) Provides hemodialysis treatment to stable patients within the community where they reside

Services include:
  • Low/high flux single use dialyzer
  • In line AV access flow testing/monitoring
  • In line blood volume monitoring device
  • Primary nursing
  • Patient and family education
  • Central monitoring system
  • Fully computerized documentation
  • On site patient amenities include:
    • Free wireless internet service
    • Flat screen TV, DVD player, portable telephone
    • Coffee, tea, ice
    • Camera surveillance in the waiting room and other areas of the unit
    • Access to the unit via intercom and manual or remote control activation by staff
  • Patient transport coordination
  • Coordination of clinic appointments
  • Processing of travel package
  • Copy of blood results and other reports
  • Exercise bike
  • Free parking
  • Staff support travel plans and send information packages for patients intending to travel
  • Educational and emotional support
