Description
Description (Service) Provides services to women to empower them to reduce social isolation, increase coping tools to make healthy choices and break the cycle of violence. Serves all women, with a special focus on women who are before the courts, incarcerated or at risk of coming into conflict with the law. Services include: 
 
* individual supportive counselling for women dealing with immediate crisis situations or working through unresolved personal issues 
* group programs on topics including anger solutions, wellness and self-esteem, financial literacy, healthy relationships 
* court support for women appearing in the Peterborough Criminal Court 
* individual and group support for women incarcerated at the Central East Correctional Centre (CECC) in Lindsay 
* advocacy, information and referral for women to access community resources and services 
 
Also offers Bail Verification and Supervision Program for women, men and youth - see separate listing for details
