| Description (Service) | Police alert notification service to promote the safety of citizens and protection of property via delivery of short text messages to voluntarily registered cell phones or email addresses. Registrants can choose to receive alerts/messages from the following list of topics: * Community Alerts * Crime Alerts * Emergency Alerts * Fleming College Alerts * Neighbourhood Alerts * School Alerts * Trent University Alerts * City Transit Alerts To provide information in response to an alert, call the non-emergency police phone number. Citizens are reminded to only call 911 in the case of an emergency. |
