|Description (Service)||The Canadian Mental Health Association offers a broad range of mental health care, service and programs for those living with serious mental illness and/or dual diagnosis in the counties of Peterborough, Northumberland, Haliburton and the City of Kawartha Lakes, while promoting mental wellness and public education.
* Services for those coping with a mental illness include peer support and self help groups, help to find shelter, help coping with daily life, advocating for your rights, social and recreational activities, help finding and keeping a job, crisis support and brief services, referral to other agencies or other sources of help, suicide prevention training and mental health workshops and public education.
