|Description (Service)||* The Canadian Mental Health Association offers a broad range of mental health care, service and programs for those living with serious mental illness and/or dual diagnosis in the counties of Peterborough, Northumberland, Haliburton and the City of Kawartha Lakes, while promoting mental wellness and public education.
* Services for those coping with a mental illness include an on site library with information books and videos, peer support and self help groups, help to find shelter, help coping with daily life, advocating for your rights, social and recreational activities, help finding and keeping a job, crisis support and brief services, referral to other agencies or other sources of help, suicide prevention training and mental health workshops and public education.
