Description

Description (Service) Assists residents of Peterborough County with social services. Provides referrals to community resources and supports, and offers information and assistance with topics including:
  • child care
  • Ontario Works (OW) benefits
  • food and shelter
  • transportation
  • services to seniors
Provides a drop-in service for rural residents in the following locations:
  • Asphodel-Norwood Public Library, Norwood Branch - 2363 County Rd 45, Norwood; Mon 1 pm-4 pm
  • Buckhorn Public Library - 5 George St, Buckhorn; Mon 8:30 am-12 noon
  • Trent Lakes Municipal Office - 701 County Rd 36, Bobcaygeon; Mon 1 pm-3 pm and Fri 8:30 am-2:40 pm
  • Apsley Public Library - 175 Burleigh St, Apsley; Wed 8:30 am-3 pm
  • Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Public Library, Havelock Branch - 13 Quebec St, Havelock; Thu 1 pm-4 pm
  • Millbrook Public Library - 1 Dufferin Street, 2nd Floor, Millbrook; Wed 12-3 pm
Residents can also drop in to the Peterborough office
