Service: CHAP

Description (Service) The CHAP program is an online registry of screened independent respite care providers who are available for hire by families of individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Delivered through Northumberland Family Respite Services.
  • Families/caregivers can review profiles of workers and then arrange interviews and subsequently hire their own worker with the rate and hours negotiated between family and worker
  • Workers from the registry are not employees of, CHAP Program, or Northumberland Family Respite Services Inc
  • Individuals listed in the Worker Registry have independently chosen to list their service as a respite provider and are available for hire/contract by families.
