Service: Community Association - Local Economic Trading System

Description (Service) * Over 70 individuals and businesses trade goods and/or services with each other and members of the public. Bartering and trading is done in green dollars.  
* Members receive a quarterly bank statement showing the amount of green dollars they have made and spent. Transactions can be a mixture of Green Dollars and Canadian Dollars with a minimum of 20% Green Dollars. Members benefit by developing a customer base for their products. Regular markets provide an opportunity for members to buy, sell, and network.  
* Non-members can buy anything for Canadian dollars. Memberships are available at the monthly markets or at the office. Online message board address is: Visit the site for members list of items offered. 
* We have been building our membership - assisting those in a lower income bracket to run micro businesses
