| Description (Service) | Transition Support Workers provide support, information, emergency accommodations and resource materials to help women live free from violence and abuse. * All support services are free, confidential, and women-centred * Services are available by appointment during office hours * Programs offer support to women and their children who are living in, or wondering about leaving, an abusive relationship * Available to all women in Peterborough City and County, and Haliburton County * The Women's Counselling and Well Being program is available to women in Haliburton County who have experienced abuse in their childhood and in adult relationships * Other programs offered include Violence Prevention programs, Women's Well Being workshops, and Haliburton Emergency Rural SafeSpace (HERS) |
