Description (Service) Provides a safe, friendly and confidential short-term emergency shelter to assist victims of natural disasters and domestic violence and emergency food bank 
* Increases public awareness in rural communities of Peterborough County and area about the impact of violence on victims 
* Encourages public participation in anti-violence work  
* Provides helpful information and referral services 
* Free crisis counselling, compassionate listening, food cupboard, clothing, toiletries and support 
 
Food bank available the last Friday of each month

Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
 
Must reside in Trent Lake Township however exceptions will be made in emergency situations, no one is turned away

Food Bank: Must call for location first as it can change each month 
 
Volunteer: Submit current resume, vulnerable persons police check and references
