Description

Description (Service) Works to prevent the transmission of HIV by providing education, information and resources to groups at risk and the general public in the counties of Peterborough, Northumberland, Haliburton and City of Kawartha Lakes

Services include:
  • workshops and training
  • community building
    • strategic partnerships
    • community development issues aimed to equip local organizations with the skills needed to support people living with HIV in all aspects of their lives

Other services provided in partnership with organizations in the Four Counties include:
  • social service agencies
  • high schools
  • police services
  • health units
