Description (Service) The Parry Sound Health Centre (PSHC) provides culturally appropriate health services in five First Nations (FN) communities: Magnetawan FN, Shawanaga FN, Wasauksing FN, Moose Deer Pt. FN and Wahta Mohawk Territory 
The Community Health Nurse visits these communities on a regular basis providing the following services:  
* Health Education and Health Promotion 
* Communicable Disease Control and Immunization  
* Maternal and Child health  
* School health \ Immunization Program 
* Chronic Disease Monitoring  
* Advocacy and Referrals to other health services 
* Harm Reduction/Needle Distribution Site 
The PSHC clerk will assists registered First Nations clients to access the Non-Insured Health benefits program, (NIHB) which includes coverage for prescription medication, medical supplies and equipment, medical transportation, optometry and dental services * Will also assist with claim submissions and appeals for coverage of services
