Description
Description (Service) 24-hour support to adults with developmental disabilities. Homes are cooperative living environments with individualized support to learn the necessary skills to live a more independent lifestyle and fully participate in the community.  
 
Services include:  
* general household management and domestic skills  
* recreational activities and hobbies 
* proper food preparation, storage and handling 
* basic self-care and personal hygiene, proper use of medication 
* money management, 
* education of personal rights and self-advocacy skills 
* general life skills enhancement, communication and interpersonal skills  
 
Community Supports Include: personal shopping * medical appointments * household grocery * shopping * recreational and leisure activities * banking * social activities * community travel  
 
Specialized Programs Offered (under the direct supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist and/or Behaviour Communication Therapist): individualized communication programs * physiotherapy * sensory integration
