| Description (Service) | Abilities to Work has been supporting persons with disabilities to find opportunities in employment, self-employment, education and training for 37 years and 27 years as a non-profit. Providing a personalized service focused on clients' needs and abilities. Through detailed intake assessments, customized employment plans are built that include disability-related limitations, in order to reduce or eliminate employment barriers. In addition to client-focused plans, funding for education, technology, clothing, specialized equipment, and wage subsidies to facilitate successful outcomes are provided. Offering support to employers through assessment and education to enhance their knowledge and practices of accessibility and disability support. Services include: • Accommodation and Accessibility related assessments • Occupational therapy assessments • Mental health support • Online training • One-on-one personalized appointments • Dedicated support for Deaf and Hard of Hearing community members • Funding for clients and employers • Job Coaching • Job Retention |
