Description

Description (Service) The Transitional Counsellor provides service to women living in the shelter and women in the community who have experienced family violence.

The program provides
  • risk assessment and safety planning
  • referrals to community resources
  • help with finding, securing and maintaining housing
  • Support happens within a strength based approach.

Service Details

Hours Resource Center: Mon-Fri 9 am-4 pm
Areas Served Northumberland County
Eligibility Individuals identifying as women who have experienced family violence

Languages Other - Interpretation is provided through MCIS Non-Profit Language Services.
