Description (Service) Vision Loss Rehabilitation Ontario (VLRO) is committed to research, public education and the vision health of all Canadians
  • Provides services and support for those living with vision loss.
 
 
Core Services include:
  • Early Intervention Program for children 0-6 years
  • Registration and Referral
  • Low Vision Services
  • Independent Living Skills
  • Orientation and Mobility
  • Assistive Technology and Consumer Products
  • Library Services
 
 
Volunteer Services and Peer Support are handled through CNIB Foundation

Eligibility
  • Anyone experiencing vision loss that creates difficulties for daily living. 
  • Early Intervention Program: ages 0-6 years 
  • Health Care Professionals Referral Form from either Optometrist or Ophthalmologist required to determine eligibility

  • Referral that is no more than one year old from optometrist or ophthalmologist required  
  • Health Care Professionals Referral Form available on website. Call for program information

    Languages English ; Other languages may be arranged prior to appointment.
