Description (Service) Vision Loss Rehabilitation Ontario (VLRO) is committed to research, public education and the vision health of all Canadians.  
* Provides services and support for those living with vision loss.  
 
Core Services include: 
* Early Intervention Program for children 0-6 years  
* Registration and Referral  
* Low Vision Services  
* Independent Living Skills  
* Orientation and Mobility  
* Employment Services  
* Assistive Technology and Consumer Products  
* Library Services.  
* Volunteer Services and Peer Support handled through CNIB Foundation

Hours Individual client services Mon-Fri by appointment only. Open to the public for information every second and fourth Wed of the month 10 am–2 pm

Areas Served Haliburton County ; Kawartha Lakes ; Northumberland County ; Peterborough (County of)
Eligibility Anyone experiencing vision loss that creates difficulties for daily living. 
Early Intervention Program: ages 0-6 years 
Health Care Professionals Referral Form from either Optometrist or Ophthalmologist required to determine eligibility
Application Call for program information
Languages English ; Other languages may be arranged prior to appointment.
