Description (Service) | Health Unit offers free preventive oral health services for eligible youth up to 17 years of age. Services include: • Fluoride Varnish application • Sealants • Scaling • Oral hygiene information • Assistance for eligible families to access publicly-funded dental treatment programs Also offers: * Oral health promotion resources and dental assessments (visual screenings) to preschool, elementary and high school students * Data collected from the screenings provides oral health statistical information about the general school population |
