Description (Service) The Association for Bright Children of Ontario supports the learning of all bright and gifted children from primary to secondary school age. Every school board in Ontario has a mandated place for a representative of the organization on the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC).  
* Provides advice and advocacy support for parents on issues regarding gifted children in social , emotional and academic domains and for individual interests and intellectual pursuits. * Chapters provide various programs and events in major cities of Ontario. 
Assisting parents with: 
* identification, placement and review committee processes (IPRC) at the school and school board level whether or not the children have been formally identified as gifted  
* in-school team meetings 
* individual education plans (IEP)s, and many other issues 
* Working with other parent associations so the interests of all children with special needs are understood and met within publicly funded school boards across the province
