Description (Service)

Collects and preserves artifacts from the region.

Operates the Campbellford-Seymour Heritage Centre which displays artifacts on various themes.
Annual events: Heritage Day, antique evaluation; cemetery outings; Christmas events; day trips.
Involved with walking tours, researching genealogy, driving tours, historical sites, property research.
Archives collection contains reference books for both history and genealogy.
Access to the CEMSEARCH program on computer is available, as well as microfilm of the Campbellford Herald, early census records, and microfiche of the Ontario Land Records inventory.
Library Archives Canada research on war records (Boar War, WWI and WWII) available
Miniature Train and Village displayed in the barn with local features
