Collects and preserves artifacts from the region.

  • Operates the Campbellford-Seymour Heritage Centre which displays artifacts on various themes.
  • Annual events: Heritage Day, antique evaluation; cemetery outings; Christmas events; day trips.
  • Involved with walking tours, researching genealogy, driving tours, historical sites, property research.
  • Archives collection contains reference books for both history and genealogy.
  • Access to the CEMSEARCH program on computer is available, as well as microfilm of the Campbellford Herald, early census records, and microfiche of the Ontario Land Records inventory.
  • Library Archives Canada research on war records (Boar War, WWI and WWII) available
  • Miniature Train and Village displayed in the barn with local features

Meetings: Meets Third Mon of the month 7:30 pm except Jul, Aug, Dec
