Description (Service) Mission is to enable Canadians to improve their health, safety and quality of life by providing training and community service.
  • * One or two day first aid classes including C.P.R. and instruction in use of Automated External Defibrillator, Babysitting, Home Alone, Mental Health First Aid and Pet First Aid offered at the training center in Cobourg or off-site. Private courses can be arranged for groups of 10 or more.
  • First aid talks and workshops can be arranged for community organizations or private groups.
  • Two community volunteer programs:
    • Volunteer Medical First Responder Unit provides first aid coverage at events,
    • Therapy Dog Program offers friendly visits and canine companionship to seniors, hospital patients, children, and others in the community.
    • Presentations about the Community Service programs can be arranged.
