| Description (Service) | The following is a list of organizations that have programs or services in place to help individuals and families during the Christmas season, usually through distribution of food hamper or vouchers and in some cases gifts for children or other family members. Christmas Food Hampers Residents of Northumberland County can apply for Christmas Food Hampers. Applicants already receiving assistance can be referred to the Salvation Army by staff at Social Services Agencies. Otherwise applicants will be asked to provide proof of income.
